In the matter of UW Housings, I might be called a \'radical\'! Why would you spend thousands of Euros on a camera, and much worst, going to that special place, just to risk a flooding in an housing?
I\'ve had experience with 3 brands, Ikelite, Aquatica and Subal. And many of my colleagues were also used Hugyphot. I wouldn\'t risk any other brand except the last two! Now, there is this stupid trend of fashion of using this or that brand, just for show off. and then 1 day, according to the inoraxable Murphy Law, something happens, and how they just wished they didn\'t. I felt for it once, when I bought the Aquatica: I had a Subal before, the Miniflex, an early model I had some problems with. then I spend a fortune to change systems, just to understand how foolish I\'ve been, and return to my old brand!
If you\'ve used Hugyphot before, why risk a less reputable brand? More bells and whistles? Is photography about that?
Thx for you answer, Hugyfot is not bad, bad i do UW Photo for 22 years now, and i start with Nikonos Ikelite Sea&Sea and last time Hugyfot, for 3 different cameras. No i will use 3 diffenrent cameras at the same time, so the idea of LEO housing is a very good idea. Hugyfot is very good, but it is only fits for one camera, you change that you ve to change the housing.... a lot of money goes away..... so for further time, i will now what can i do, i dont want to burn money, if i can get a housing that works with different cameras, and as well with diffent brands, then it will be for me a good idea to think about that system and try to get infos about it. My old TEcJacket is 23years old from Zeagle and after more then 2000dives i ve to change it... and it will be not again a Zeagle..... So if Hugyfot or Subal will bild up a housing for diffent cameras i will go to Hugyfot, if it fits , but for these time LEO is the only housing.....
Hi Ralf,
I\'ve been using Easydive housings for over a decade and have never had any problems. The ability to change camera without having to change the housing is an advantage that soon repays the money spent. Add to this the reliability both electronic and constructive and you will be one of the many satisfied users. Right now I use a Leo3 and a Leo3Wi with Nikon D7100 and D7500 without any configuration problems. At your disposal for any other information.
THX, i will get the LEO now, i will use in further time , a Sony 7r III, a 7S and my little Canon 700 inside. The housing are looking very good and the handling is easy to learn..... if you once use an Sony :-) , The pssibility to change between dives the Cameras is a very good.
