RemarksUnder streaming light rays, a photographer shoots images of the stern of the Joseph S. Fay shipwreck. The ship was towing the D.P. Rhodes schooner; both full of iron ore. They encountered a storm and the Rhodes twisted, ripping off part of the stern of the Fay. The hull was swept into shore, taking most of the crew with her, who survived. However, the first mate and another crew member were separated from the main portion of the ship; sadly first mate David Syze succumbed to the cold water.
