RemarksA spotted cleaner shrimp glows fluorescent under Nightsea light. I first tried underwater fluorescence photography three years ago in Bonaire...and I was instantly hooked! Not all creatures glow under fluorescence and even within the same species some will glow while others will not. I was excited to discover that this spotted cleaner shrimp and corallimorph does glow! Under white light they are purple and beige, respectively. But here the blue light of a Nightsea fluorescence kit excited the fluorescence in both the shrimp and corallimorph. A special Nightsea yellow filter over the port enabled me to record the fluorescence.
